We're not a huge business. In fact, we're pretty small.

We don't spend a fortune on marketing. In fact, we spend hardly anything.

We don't have a heap of fancy equipment or a big staff. In fact, there is only a few of us doing all the work.

But the one thing we don't compromise on are our wine and spirits.

Everything we do is dedicated to producing exceptional wine and spirits.

We spend our days tending our vines by hand. There's no machine intervention here (except for a pair of secateurs if you can call that a machine).

In fact, the only thing that intervenes is Mother Nature. You could say our wine is biodynamic.

We like to say, let Mother Nature do its work on simply great vines.

Our job as custodians of these great vines is to get the grapes picked and crushed at the right time, and to get them in the best barrels to age to perfection.

The grapes also form the basis to make some of our spirits (like gin, brandy and grappa).

Exceptional whisky, rum and agave spirits are made onsite as well.

Domaine Asmara was honoured to be one of James Halliday's 5-star wineries in 2011 - 2015 and the prestigious Top 10 New Wineries in Australia in 2011.
