TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Promoter
The promotion of the Win A River Life Escape competition is run jointly by Visit Echuca Moama and Murray River Council. (“Joint Promoters”).

2. Promotion Period
The promotion opens at 12:00PM AEDT on Friday 2 October 2026 and closes at 11:59 AEDT on Friday 30 October 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.
3. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
Employees, contractors and immediate family members of:
- the Promoter;
- Visit Echuca Moama;
- Murray River Country;
- littleBIG Marketing;
- participating prize suppliers; and
- any agencies directly involved in conducting the promotion are not eligible to enter.
4. How to Enter
To enter, eligible entrants must, during the Promotion Period:
- complete and submit the competition entry form, including all required details;
- follow @echuca_moama and @visitrivercountry on Instagram;
- like the official competition post and
- tag someone in the comments of the post.
Only one entry per email address is permitted.
Incomplete, illegible, fraudulent or otherwise invalid entries may be deemed ineligible.
There is no fee to enter the promotion.
The winner will be drawn at random.
5. Marketing Consent
Database subscription is a condition of entry
By participating in this Promotion, each entrant consents to their submitted personal information being collected, stored, and entered into the databases of both Joint Promoters.
Entrants may unsubscribe from either mailing list at any time after entering the promotion.
The entry form makes this requirement clear before the entrant submits their entry.
6. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the promotion will be used to:
- administer and conduct the promotion;
- verify eligibility;
- contact the winner;
- provide the prize; and
- where the entrant has provided the relevant consent, send marketing communications from Visit Echuca Moama and/or Murray River Country.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with:

Data will be held in MailChimp and managed by littleBIG marketing, transferred to Visit Echuca Moama and Visit River Country in accordance with privacy laws
Where an entrant consents to direct marketing, they may withdraw that consent or unsubscribe at any time.
7. Prize
There is one (1) prize to be won.
The prize consists of:
Accommodation: Two nights accommodation for two people in a Reflections at Rich River Studio Suite. Package includes two $100 vouchers to be used in the Rich River clubhouse on food and beverages.
The total package is valued at $798.
Accommodation must be claimed between 1 February 2027 and 31 March 2027 anytime during the week or weekend, subject to availability and any applicable blackout dates.
The room will be booked by Visit Echuca Moama on behalf of the WINNER.
Murray River Paddlesteamers: One Murray River Paddlesteamers voucher valued at $300, subject to the supplier's applicable booking and redemption conditions.
Voucher is valid until 12 October 2029.
Embr Moama: One Embr Moama dining voucher valued at $100, subject to the supplier's applicable booking and redemption conditions.
Voucher is valid until 12 October 2029.
Total Prize Value
The total maximum retail value of the prize is $1,198 AUD including GST.
The prize value is correct as at 12 October 2026 and is based on information provided by the prize suppliers.
8. Prize Exclusions
Unless expressly stated above, the prize does not include:
- transport to or from Echuca Moama;
- fuel;
- flights;
- additional accommodation;
- additional meals or beverages;
- spending money;
- travel insurance;
- activities not specifically identified as part of the prize; or
- any other personal expenses.
All additional costs associated with accepting and using the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
9. Prize Conditions
The prize is subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the relevant prize suppliers.
The winner and their guest/s are responsible for ensuring they are able to travel during the nominated redemption period.
The prize, or any unused component of the prize, is:
- not transferable;
- not exchangeable;
- not redeemable for cash; and
- not able to be used in conjunction with another offer unless the relevant supplier permits it.
If a prize component becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may substitute that component with a prize of equal or greater value where permitted by law.
10. Winner Selection
This is a game of chance.
The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.
The draw will take place at:

Each valid entry will have an equal chance of being selected.
The first valid entry randomly selected will be the winner.
11. Winner Notification
The winner will be notified:
- by email at the address supplied with their entry; and within one business day of the draw.
The Promoter will never ask a winner to provide credit card details or make payment to claim the prize.
12. Claiming the Prize
The winner must respond to the Promoter and claim the prize by 11:59PM Tuesday 3 November 2026.
The Promoter may require proof of:
- identity;
- age;
- Australian residency; and
- compliance with these Terms & Conditions
before awarding the prize.
13. Unclaimed Prize
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond by the claim deadline or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw.

The replacement winner will be notified within one business day.
14. Verification and Invalid Entries
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants.
The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who:
- submits false or misleading information;
- tampers with the entry process;
- uses automated or fraudulent methods of entering;
- submits multiple entries contrary to these Terms & Conditions; or
- otherwise fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
The Promoter's decision regarding eligibility is final, subject to applicable law.
15. Prize Supplier Responsibility
Reflections at Rich River, Murray River Paddlesteamers and Embr Moama are prize suppliers.
Each prize component is subject to the relevant supplier's terms, booking conditions, availability and operating requirements.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any changes made by a prize supplier that are outside the Promoter's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
16. Cancellation or Changes
If the promotion cannot be conducted as planned for reasons outside the Promoter's reasonable control, including technical failure, fraud, platform failure or circumstances affecting a prize supplier, the Promoter may modify, suspend or cancel the promotion where permitted by law.
Any change will be made in a way that is fair to entrants and consistent with applicable regulatory requirements.
17. Social Media
The promotion may be advertised through Facebook and Instagram.
The promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta, Facebook or Instagram.
Entrants release those platforms from any liability associated with the promotion to the extent permitted by law.
Entrants must comply with the applicable platform terms when participating.
18. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for:
- entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or not received due to technical issues;
- interruptions to websites or social media platforms outside its control;
- changes to supplier availability;
- loss or damage arising from circumstances outside the Promoter's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any statutory consumer guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
19. Acceptance of Terms
By entering the promotion, entrants acknowledge that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to interpret these Terms & Conditions and determine eligibility, subject to applicable law.
