Echuca Gardens in a centrally located combination of self contained accommodations. Choose between the heritage designed gypsy wagons (1-2 persons), 1 bdr apartment (1-2 persons), 2 bdr apartment (3-4 persons) or the "150" year old woodcutter cottage (5-8 persons).All options are surrounded by magnificent water gardens and on the edge of state forest within walking distance to the river, historic port and town centre. Which ever you choose, you can be assured of a friendly welcome from your host Kym.

Children and pets welcome in all units, but pets with prior approval only. Pets are permitted inside but not on furniture or bedding. Guests are responsible for pets at all times.

​Parking is on a sealed nature strip at the front of the property under security lights and cameras. There are limits to the number of vehicles permitted per unit of accommodation, with no provision for trailers, boats or caravans.

Please note: Check-in is after 4pm, and check-out at 10am.

GYPSY WAGONS

Constructed with guidance from Heritage Victoria, the wagons are a unique reproduction of travelling wagons in the late 19th century. Historical accuracy does not stand in the way of 21st century comforts though.

​Ascend the stairs into the kitchenette/dining/entertainment area- all well equipped for your comfort. Follow through to the plush bedroom with “double high bed”, decorated in velvet and lace. A full en-suite is attached for your comfort, together with reverse cycle air conditioning.

Please note- The wagons measure 8.5m x 2.5m. Located to the rear of the property and surrounded by amazing gardens on the edge of the state forest, your wagon allows a most unique experience in total privacy.

Ideal for a romantic getaway couple.

ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT

Located on the ground floor, this new spacious private 1 bedroom apartment combines supreme comfort and personal artistic flair. Enter through the combined full well equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area - all with views into the Asian garden and visiting local birdlife. The screened adjoining bedroom has a QS bed with full en-suite and walk in wardrobe.  There is reverse cycle air conditioning for added comfort.

TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT

Located on the first floor, within the host’s home (but separate with own private entry), the apartment comprises 2 queen sized bedded en-suite rooms, and each with their own balcony overlooking the gardens below.

​A new full kitchen is provided, with the option of indoor (kitchen) or outside (balcony) dining. The separate lounge also has a fold down couch which can accommodate 1 child only.

Ideal for 2 couples or a small family.

COTTAGE

This self contained accommodation option is in a 155 year old, fully restored Victorian (circa 1869) classic timber-cutters cottage.

Enter through the richly decorated lounge/parlor with pressed metal high ceilings and original polished timber floors.The large dining table in the adjoining room provides ample space for intimate or group dining whilst the newly refurbished, fully equipped kitchen is a joy to "cook up a storm" in. The 3 bedrooms (6 bunks plus double. Max 8 person), although not spacious, are more then adequate for those accustomed to sharing.

Finally there are the newly restored bathrooms (2) and laundry before exiting to your own private back gardens with barbeque facilities.

The cottage is ideal for either large families or small groups on a budget.
