The 2 Rivers Backyard Ultra returns to Echuca for the second time, starting on 11 April 2026.

Competitors of all skills will run the 6.7km course every hour, until the last one standing runs one additional lap. Then its over. There is no second place, you win, or you don't finish.

The beautiful, scenic course runs along the scenic drive trail following the Murray river before veering onto pavement and following beside the bridge that takes you to New South Wales. This is an out and back section that turns you around at the 'Blue Tree' before returning and tackling the 'hill' and returning into the event area from the opposite direction.
