Fosterville Gold Mine is bringing a bit of gold fever to Wonderland on the Murray with a hands-on gold panning activity, on Saturday, 31 January 2026. 

Kids and families can roll up their sleeves, learn the basics of prospecting and try their luck at finding a little sparkle to take home. It’s a fun, family friendly way to experience Victoria’s gold mining history and discover what makes our region shine.
