The BIG Freeze Echuca Moama is making a powerful return, bringing the community together to raise vital funds for FightMND and the fight against motor neurone disease (MND).

The Big Freeze Echuca Moama will take place on King’s Birthday, Monday 8 June from 11.30am at Rich River Golf Club, Moama, as part of a family-friendly community fun day.
Our main event will see our sliders take the plunge into a huge ice pool with the aim to raise vital funds and with plenty of encouragement from the FightMND army in Big Freeze beanies.
Some other events throughout the day include:

• FightMND Golf Tournament with a Hole in One competition proudly supported by Echuca MG
• 100m Dash for Cash – Local sporting groups will have the chance for a bit of friendly rivalry to see who takes home the crown
• Mini Golf – Play a game of mini golf on the day and see all proceeds go to the cause

This community event is proudly supported by Rich River Golf Club and Team Lorna’s Girls, who formed in honour of Lorna Hicks, who bravely battled MND for 2.5 years before passing away at 51. Her strength, courage, and spirit continue to inspire everything the team stands for.
